The Sei Advisory logo draws inspiration from the tradition of Chinese seal carving, where a symbol or character is thoughtfully engraved to embody identity, purpose, and meaning. At the center of the logo lies the Chinese character 思 (sī), which translates to think, reflect, contemplate, and consider. This character is not only my Chinese name but also a representation of my personal identity and professional philosophy. Throughout my career in technology, business transformation, and organizational leadership development, I have been captivated by understanding complex systems, posing thoughtful inquiries, and assisting organizations in navigating uncertainty. These core themes have profoundly influenced my research on leadership and organizational adaptability, particularly in the realm of complexity management. Surrounding the character is a labyrinth-like design that symbolizes the complexities of modern organizations. Today’s leaders grapple with uncertainty, competing priorities, technological disruption, and constant change; the path forward is rarely straightforward. The labyrinth serves as a metaphor for the challenges facing organizations and highlights the mission of Sei Advisory: to aid leaders in navigating complexity with improved clarity, awareness, and intention.
